About Us

We are a mom and daughter team with a combined 45 years of teaching and training.

Mom's name is Karen, and she has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education with a specialization in transfer of training. She owned her own training and development business for over 25 years working as a motivational keynote speaker. The author of "Mental Pullups," Karen is passionate about people improving their health. Highly sought after by Fortune 500 companies, Karen excelled in customized training for individuals and companies. Additionally, she is certified in Sozo ministry. Karen is a mom of four grown kids, seven grandchildren, and wife to one amazing husband- Bob.  She has two dogs - Zoe and Teddy, but Teddy the golden retriever is her favorite!

Kari is the daughter! She has a double major in Exercise Science and Wellness and Recreation. As a competitive college basketball player, she earned a full ride scholarship and was an Academic All- American.  A personal trainer for years, she loves helping others identify and achieve their goals. Kari also coached high school girls basketball, and saw firsthand the problems that young women face today. It gave her a deep desire to see them set free and be made whole. The founder of Light & Truth prayer ministry, Kari is also the author of  "What I Wish I Would Have Known About Prayer." (Releasing soon!)  Kari is wife to her husband Ramiro, and mom to two beautiful teenage girls. (And of course, our Australian Shepherd, Togo!)  

As teachers, we have worked together for years to see the power of truth set people free! We know that truth can set you free, too!
